No. Exodus is a self-custody wallet, which means you control the private keys and your secret recovery phrase. Your assets are not held by a central company on your behalf.
Can I use Exodus on more than one device?
Yes. You can access the same wallet on desktop and mobile by restoring it with your secret recovery phrase. Keep that phrase offline and never share it with anyone.
What can I do beyond holding crypto?
You can swap assets, stake supported networks, track your portfolio, connect to Web3 apps, and move between fiat and crypto through supported providers — all from the same wallet.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your assets live on the blockchain, not inside the phone. You can restore access on a new device using your secret recovery phrase. That is why a secure backup matters from day one.
